A1 Sauces

The original A1 sauce was created in 1824 by Henderson William Brand, a chef to King George IV of Great Britain. A popular myth says that the king gave the sauce an "A1" grade, which it has held ever since. It has been unquestionably the best-selling barbecue sauce in the United States for the past few decades.
